I have been writing on this blog, off and on, since partway through my junior year of high school. Since then, many of my opinions, attitudes, and beliefs about quite fundamental things — religion, politics, and more — have shifted dramatically. The process of change took me into some strange places. If you browse this blog, you’ll find everything from posts supporting the McCain presidential campaign to posts showing the influence of Christian anarchism.

In some cases, I have actually removed old posts — less often because of their distance from my present opinions than because of the mode of writing I employed at times to advance my ideas. In the past I have often lacked humility, charity, and maturity, and some of posts reflect this. Some of the more egregious examples have been removed, but many remain, in part because I am loathe to censor certain writings that (whatever my attitude toward them today) represented important moments in my personal and intellectual development.

I ask only that anyone reading this blog take this into consideration.
